3.  அன்றைய தினம் அவன் ஒரு அடையாளத்தையும் சொல்லி, இதோ, இந்தப் பலிபீடம் வெடித்து, அதின்மேலுள்ள சாம்பல் கொட்டுண்டுபோம்; கர்த்தர் உரைத்ததற்கு இதுவே அடையாளம் என்றான்.

3.  And he gave a sign the same day, saying, This is the sign which the LORD hath spoken; Behold, the altar shall be rent, and the ashes that are upon it shall be poured out.
