31.  அப்பொழுது அவன் ஊழியக்காரர் அவனை நோக்கி: இதோ, இஸ்ரவேல் வம்சத்து ராஜாக்கள் தயவுள்ள ராஜாக்கள் என்று கேட்டிருக்கிறோம்; நாங்கள் இரட்டுகளை எங்கள் அரைகளில் கட்டி, கயிறுகளை எங்கள் தலைகளில் சுற்றிக் கொண்டு, இஸ்ரவேலின் ராஜாவினிடத்தில் போவோம்; ஒருவேளை உம்மை உயிரோடே வைப்பார் என்று சொல்லி,

31.  And his servants said unto him, Behold now, we have heard that the kings of the house of Israel are merciful kings: let us, I pray thee, put sackcloth on our loins, and ropes upon our heads, and go out to the king of Israel: peradventure he will save thy life.
