2.  அவனுக்குச் சவுல் என்னும் பேருள்ள சவுந்தரியமான வாலிபனாகிய ஒரு குமாரன் இருந்தான்; இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரில் அவனைப்பார்க்கிலும் சவுந்தரியவான் இல்லை; எல்லா ஜனங்களும் அவன் தோளுக்குக் கீழாயிருக்கத்தக்க உயரமுள்ளவனாயிருந்தான்.

2.  And he had a son, whose name was Saul, a choice young man, and a goodly: and there was not among the children of Israel a goodlier person than he: from his shoulders and upward he was higher than any of the people.
