29. அவனை அடித்து விசாரிக்கும்படி எத்தனமாயிருந்தவர்கள் உடனே அவனை விட்டுவிட்டார்கள். சேனாபதி அவன் ரோமனென்று அறிந்து, அவனைக் கட்டுவித்ததற்காகப் பயந்தான்.
29. Then straightway they departed from him which should have examined him: and the chief captain also was afraid, after he knew that he was a Roman, and because he had bound him.
