39.  அதையும் அதின் ராஜாவையும் அதைச் சேர்ந்த எல்லாப் பட்டணங்களையும் பிடித்தான்; அவைகளைப் பட்டயக்கருக்கினால் அழித்து, அதிலுள்ள நரஜீவன்களையெல்லாம், ஒருவரையும் மீதியாக வைக்காமல், சங்காரம்பண்ணினார்கள்; எபிரோனுக்கும் லிப்னாவுக்கும் அவைகளின் ராஜாவுக்கும் செய்ததுபோலத் தெபீருக்கும் அதின் ராஜாவுக்கும் செய்தான்.

39.  And he took it, and the king thereof, and all the cities thereof; and they smote them with the edge of the sword, and utterly destroyed all the souls that were therein; he left none remaining: as he had done to Hebron, so he did to Debir, and to the king thereof; as he had done also to Libnah, and to her king.
