39.  அப்பொழுது கிதியோன் தேவனை நோக்கி: நான் இன்னும் ஒருவிசைமாத்திரம் பேசுகிறேன், உமது கோபம் என் மேல் மூளாதிருப்பதாக; தோலினாலே நான் இன்னும் ஒரேவிசை சோதனைபண்ணட்டும்; தோல்மாத்திரம் காய்ந்திருக்கவும் பூமியெங்கும் பனி பெய்திருக்கவும் கட்டளையிடும் என்றான்.

39.  And Gideon said unto God, Let not thine anger be hot against me, and I will speak but this once: let me prove, I pray thee, but this once with the fleece; let it now be dry only upon the fleece, and upon all the ground let there be dew.
