அப்பொழுது எரேமியா வேறொரு சுருளை எடுத்து, அதை நேரியாவின் குமாரனாகிய பாருக்கு என்னும் சம்பிரதியினிடத்தில் கொடுத்தான்; அவன் யூதாவின் ராஜாவாகிய யோயாக்கீம் அக்கினியால் சுட்டெரித்த புஸ்தகத்தின் வார்த்தைகளையெல்லாம், அதிலே எரேமியாவின் வாய் சொல்ல எழுதினான்; இன்னும் அவைகளுக்கொத்த அநேகம் வார்த்தைகளும் அவைகளோடே சேர்க்கப்பட்டது.
Then took Jeremiah another roll, and gave it to Baruch the scribe, the son of Neriah; who wrote therein from the mouth of Jeremiah all the words of the book which Jehoiakim king of Judah had burned in the fire: and there were added besides unto them many like words.
