1 கர்த்தர் என் ஆண்டவரை நோக்கி: நான் உம்முடைய சத்துருக்களை உமக்கு பாதபடியாக்கிப் போடும்வரைக்கும், நீர் என்னுடைய வலதுபாரிசத்தில் உட்காரும் என்றார்.

2 கர்த்தர் சீயோனிலிருந்து உமது வல்லமையின் செங்கோலை அனுப்புவார்; நீர் உம்முடைய சத்துருக்களின் நடுவே ஆளுகைசெய்யும்.

3 உமது பராக்கிரமத்தின் நாளிலே உம்முடைய ஜனங்கள் மனப்பூர்வமும் பரிசுத்த அலங்காரமும் உள்ளவர்களாயிருப்பார்கள்; விடியற்காலத்துக் கர்ப்பத்தில் பிறக்கும் பனிக்குச் சமானமாய் உம்முடைய யெளவன ஜனம் உமக்குப் பிறக்கும்.

4 நீர் மெல்கிசேதேக்கின் முறைமையின்படி என்றென்றைக்கும் ஆசாரியராயிருக்கிறீர் என்று கர்த்தர் ஆணையிட்டார், மனம் மாறாமலுமிருப்பார்.

5 உம்முடைய வலது பாரிசத்திலிருக்கிற ஆண்டவர், தமது கோபத்தின் நாளிலே ராஜாக்களை வெட்டுவார்.

6 அவர் ஜாதிகளுக்குள் நியாயந்தீர்ப்பார்; எல்லா இடங்களையும் பிரேதங்களால் நிரப்புவார்; விஸ்தாரமான தேசங்களின்மேல் தலைவர்களாகிறவர்களை நொறுக்கிப்போடுவார்.

7 வழியிலே அவர் நதியில் குடிப்பார், ஆகையால் அவர் தமது தலையை எடுப்பார்.

1 The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.

2 The LORD shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies.

3 Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth.

4 The LORD hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek.

5 The Lord at thy right hand shall strike through kings in the day of his wrath.

6 He shall judge among the heathen, he shall fill the places with the dead bodies; he shall wound the heads over many countries.

7 He shall drink of the brook in the way: therefore shall he lift up the head.

3 உமது பராக்கிரமத்தின் நாளிலே உம்முடைய ஜனங்கள் மனப்பூர்வமும் பரிசுத்த அலங்காரமும் உள்ளவர்களாயிருப்பார்கள்; விடியற்காலத்துக் கர்ப்பத்தில் பிறக்கும் பனிக்குச் சமானமாய் உம்முடைய யெளவன ஜனம் உமக்குப் பிறக்கும்.

3 Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth.

4 நீர் மெல்கிசேதேக்கின் முறைமையின்படி என்றென்றைக்கும் ஆசாரியராயிருக்கிறீர் என்று கர்த்தர் ஆணையிட்டார், மனம் மாறாமலுமிருப்பார்.

5 உம்முடைய வலது பாரிசத்திலிருக்கிற ஆண்டவர், தமது கோபத்தின் நாளிலே ராஜாக்களை வெட்டுவார்.

6 அவர் ஜாதிகளுக்குள் நியாயந்தீர்ப்பார்; எல்லா இடங்களையும் பிரேதங்களால் நிரப்புவார்; விஸ்தாரமான தேசங்களின்மேல் தலைவர்களாகிறவர்களை நொறுக்கிப்போடுவார்.
