25.  மனுஷனுக்கு விரோதமாக மனுஷன் பாவஞ்செய்தால், நியாயாதிபதிகள் அதைத் தீர்ப்பார்கள்; ஒருவன் கர்த்தருக்கு விரோதமாகப் பாவஞ்செய்வானேயாகில், அவனுக்காக விண்ணப்பஞ்செய்யத்தக்கவன் யார் என்றான்; அவர்களோ தங்கள் தகப்பன் சொல்லைக் கேளாமற்போனார்கள்; அவர்களைச் சங்கரிக்கக் கர்த்தர் சித்தமாயிருந்தார்.

25.  If one man sin against another, the judge shall judge him: but if a man sin against the LORD, who shall entreat for him? Notwithstanding they hearkened not unto the voice of their father, because the LORD would slay them.
