17.  அப்பொழுது தானியேல் ராஜசமுகத்தில் பிரதியுத்தரமாக: உம்முடைய வெகுமானங்கள் உம்மிடத்திலேயே இருக்கட்டும்; உம்முடைய பரிசுகளை வேறொருவனுக்குக் கொடும். இந்த எழுத்தை நான் ராஜாவுக்கு வாசித்து, இதின் அர்த்தத்தைத் தெரிவிப்பேன்.

17.  Then Daniel answered and said before the king, Let thy gifts be to thyself, and give thy rewards to another; yet I will read the writing unto the king, and make known to him the interpretation.
