4.  அப்பொழுது கர்த்தர் அவனை நோக்கி: நான் உங்கள் சந்ததிக்குக் கொடுப்பேன் என்று ஆபிரகாமுக்கும் ஈசாக்குக்கும் யாக்கோபுக்கும் ஆணையிட்ட தேசம் இதுதான், இதை உன் கண் காணும்படி செய்தேன்; ஆனாலும் அவ்விடத்திற்குக் கடந்துபோவதில்லை என்றார்.

4.  And the LORD said unto him, This is the land which I sware unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, saying, I will give it unto thy seed: I have caused thee to see it with thine eyes, but thou shalt not go over thither.
