2.  மனுபுத்திரனே, இஸ்ரவேலின் மேய்ப்பருக்கு விரோதமாகத் தீர்க்கதரிசனம் உரை; நீ தீர்க்கதரிசனம் உரைத்து அவர்களோடே சொல்லவேண்டியது என்னவென்றால்: கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் மேய்ப்பருக்குச் சொல்லுகிறார்; தங்களையே மேய்க்கிற இஸ்ரவேலின் மேய்ப்பருக்கு ஐயோ! மேய்ப்பர் அல்லவா மந்தையை மேய்க்கவேண்டும்.

2.  Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel, prophesy, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD unto the shepherds; Woe be to the shepherds of Israel that do feed themselves! should not the shepherds feed the flocks?
