37.  அதைப் பிடித்து, எக்லோனுக்குச் செய்ததுபோல, அதையும் அதின் ராஜாவையும் அதற்கு அடுத்த எல்லாப்பட்டணங்களையும் அதிலுள்ள சகல நரஜீவன்களையும், ஒருவரையும் மீதியாக வைக்காமல் பட்டயக்கருக்கினால் அழித்தார்கள்; அதையும் அதிலுள்ள சகல நரஜீவன்களையும் சங்காரம்பண்ணினான்.

37.  And they took it, and smote it with the edge of the sword, and the king thereof, and all the cities thereof, and all the souls that were therein; he left none remaining, according to all that he had done to Eglon; but destroyed it utterly, and all the souls that were therein.
