24.  அந்த வேவுகாரர் பட்டணத்திலிருந்து புறப்பட்டு வருகிற ஒரு மனுஷனைக் கண்டு: பட்டணத்திற்குள் பிரவேசிக்கும் வழியை எங்களுக்குக் காண்பி, உனக்குத் தயைசெய்வோம் என்றார்கள்.

24.  And the spies saw a man come forth out of the city, and they said unto him, Show us, we pray thee, the entrance into the city, and we will show thee mercy.
