4.  பின்பு யெப்தா கீலேயாத் மனுஷரையெல்லாம் கூட்டி, எப்பிராயீமரோடு யுத்தம் பண்ணினான்; எப்பிராயீமுக்கும் மனாசேக்கும் நடுவே குடியிருக்கிற கீலேயாத்தியரான நீங்கள் எப்பிராயீமைவிட்டு ஓடிப்போனவர்கள் என்று எப்பிராயீமர் சொன்னபடியினால், கீலேயாத் மனுஷர் அவர்களை முறிய அடித்தார்கள்.

4.  Then Jephthah gathered together all the men of Gilead, and fought with Ephraim: and the men of Gilead smote Ephraim, because they said, Ye Gileadites are fugitives of Ephraim among the Ephraimites, and among the Manassites.
