16.  இவைகளினிமித்தம் நான் அழுகிறேன்; என் கண், என் கண்ணே நீராய்ச் சொரிகிறது; என் உயிரைக் காப்பாற்றித் தேற்றுகிறவர் என்னை விட்டுத் தூரமானார்; பகைஞன் மேற்கொண்டதினால் என் பிள்ளைகள் பாழாய்ப்போனார்கள்.

16.  For these things I weep; mine eye, mine eye runneth down with water, because the comforter that should relieve my soul is far from me: my children are desolate, because the enemy prevailed.
