12.  அன்றியும் அவர் தம்மை விருந்துக்கு அழைத்தவனை நோக்கி: நீ பகல்விருந்தாவது இராவிருந்தாவது பண்ணும்போது, உன் சிநேகிதரையாகிலும் உன் சகோதரரையாகிலும், உன் பந்து ஜனங்களையாகிலும், ஐசுவரியமுள்ள அயலகத்தாரையாகிலும் அழைக்கவேண்டாம்; அழைத்தால் அவர்களும் உன்னை அழைப்பார்கள், அப்பொழுது உனக்குப் பதிலுக்குப் பதில் செய்ததாகும்.

12.  Then said he also to him that bade him, When thou makest a dinner or a supper, call not thy friends, nor thy brethren, neither thy kinsmen, nor thy rich neighbours; lest they also bid thee again, and a recompence be made thee.
