26.  அப்பொழுது ராஜா மிகுந்த துக்கமடைந்தான், ஆகிலும், ஆணையினிமித்தமும், கூடப்பந்தியிருந்தவர்களினிமித்தமும், அவளுக்கு அதை மறுக்க மனதில்லாமல்;

26.  And the king was exceeding sorry; yet for his oath's sake, and for their sakes which sat with him, he would not reject her.
